Good Neighbors Nepal (GNN) is a national NGO working in Nepal since 2002 with the objective of improving the lives of people, especially community through education, livelihood activities, health services, WASH, advocacy, network building and disaster risk reduction. GNN invites application for following Livelihood Rehabilitation Project Gorkha Office in the funding of World Vision International Nepal.

1.Position Title: Project Coordinator
No. of Vacancy: 1

Job Purpose:

  • Lead the livelihood project in community participation approach to implement the programs and plan of the project activities, mobilize the staff and timely report to the donor.

Minimum Qualification and Experience required:

  • Bachelor Degree in Agriculture Science (Master Preferred) or related fields from recognized university with at least three years hands on experience in applying strategy frameworks, concepts and methodologies in livelihood programs and a few years experiences in Emergency response and DRR projects.

2.Position Title: Livelihood Officer
No. of Vacancy: 2

Job Purpose:

  • Provide the technical leadership in the design and implementation of livelihoods program component and monitor cooperative activities in respective coverage areas.

Minimum Qualification and Experience required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or related field with at least two years’ experience in livelihood sectors in rural areas, good knowledge of community based livelihood projects and emerging issued or rural farmers of Nepal.

3.Position Title: Infrastructure Officer
No. of Vacancy: 1

Job Purpose:

  • Provide the technical leadership in the design and implementation of Infrastructure program component and monitor infrastructure designed activities in respective coverage areas.

Minimum Qualification and Experience required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field with at least two years’ experience in Infrastructure sectors in rural areas, good knowledge of community based Infrastructure projects.

4.Position Title: Finance & Admin Officer
No. of Vacancy: 1

Job Purpose:

  • Financial Reporting, planning, monitoring and supervision of financial system, implementation of allocated budget and able to prepare financial reports.

Minimum Qualification and Experience required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Accounting with at least three years of working experience in Development organizations.

5.Position Title: Procurement Officer
No. of Vacancy: 1

Job Purpose:

  • Maintain transparent and correct procurement process proper coordination with functional departments as per the requirements of Supply Chain Management Policy.

Minimum Qualification and Experience required:

  • Bachelor’s degree (and/or perusing similar studies) in Management/Supply Chain with at least two years of work experience in Development organizations, Preference will be to those who have already acquainted with the WVIN SCM Policy.

6.Position Title: Social Mobilizer
No. of Vacancy: 7

Job Purpose:

  • Provide the orientation to community people and basically responsible for motivating and providing technical knowledge to the groups/farmers for livelihood improvement.

Minimum Qualification and Experience required:

  • Intermediate (and/or perusing) in related field with at least two years’ experience in community development projects. Preference will be to those who already worked as SM at communities and to the local persons.
