Position: Incusive DRR Officer for American Red Cross
Qualification:
- Master’s Degree in Social Science or Sociology
Experience:
- 3+ years in GESI and CBDRR
Base: Outside Kathmandu either in Kanchanpur or Dadheldhura
Responsibilities:
• To Design and develop GESI approaches and strategies for the program in consultation with NRCS, ensuring inclusion of best practices related to persons with disabilities (PWD).Review and revision of ARC and NRCS DRR procedures, tools and trainings to ensure integration of GESI. Ensure that the project implementation plan reflects GESI considerations and relevant activities.
Position: Senior Program Officer, Mahakali River Inclusive CBDRR Project for American Red Cross
Qualification:
- Master’s Degree in Social Science or Sociology
Experience:
- 5+ years in DRR, CBDRR, Disaster Preparedness
Base: Kathmandu based with 50% of time in field travel.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop program approaches and strategies for the program in consultation with NRCS. Develop implementation plan which includes periodic plan (monthly, quarterly and annually) in consultation with NRCS. Actively engage in program implementation (stakeholder workshops, vulnerability and capacity assessments, development of local disaster risk management plans, trainings, simulations, enhancing NRCS district chapter capacity in inclusive DRR).
Position: WASH Project Officer (Engineer) for Norwegian Red Cross
Qualification:
- University Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Experience: 3+ years Base: Kathmandu based with more than 50% of time in field travel.
Responsibilities:
• Project Officer will coordinate with experts, consultants, NRCS (district and HQ) staff, and local communities to ensure the success of ongoing water supply, sanitation activities to transfer insights and lessons learnt into the planning and assist in the setup of the reconstruction assistance activities (rehabilitation reconstruction of water supply schemes shelter and latrine Constriction) .
