Helen Keller International (HKI)/Nepal, an International non-profit organization (INGO) working in nutrition and food security in partnership with the USAID-funded Sabal Program seeks application from energetic and self- motivated Nepalese citizens for the following Sindhuli basedposition.

Position: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer – 1 (Short-term)

Description

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of program components and adjust to increase effectiveness.
  • Review monitoring checklists of program activities.
  • Support program and  M & E team for evaluation management during periodic evaluation of project interventions at field level.
  • Develop regular trend analysis of complaints and share it with project team as per protocols.
  • Carry out preliminary investigations and prepare preliminary and period reports.
  • Carry out follow up monitoring visits using the monitoring action plan tracker.
  • Any other tasks assigned by line manager.

The requirement for the role

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Economics, Development Studies, M & E or related Social Sciences.

Work Experience:

  • Three years’ experience in health/ nutrition and food security /livelihood related programs.
  • Experience conducting data quality assessments an advantage.

Skills:

  • Experience in M&E systems, Database and data management
  • Relevant experience in research and survey and data analysis management.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Willingness to regularly travel to rural areas
