World Education, Inc., an International NGO working with disadvantaged communities and vulnerable populations, seeks highly motivated and qualified candidates for the following positions for an upcoming 3-year inclusive education project.
Senior Program Officer (Kathmandu based with 50% travel to project districts)
The Senior Program Officer will be responsible for overseeing the field districts. S/he will be responsible for developing and providing training and technical support and will be required to participate in the development of curricula and materials for students with disability. This capacity building support will enhance skills of teachers, schools managers, CBOs, NGOs and local government counterparts. S/he will ensure effective implementation of the program to meet the objectives.
Educational Qualification:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, with 8 years of work experience, or Master’s Degree in relevant subject area (preferably Education) with at least 5 years of experience in the field of training and curricula design. Prior experience in early grade readingprogram as well as developing educational curricula and training will be an advantage.
Program Officers (Kathmandu based with 50% travel to project districts)

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, with 5 years of work experience, or Master’s Degree in relevant subject area with at least 3 years of experience. Prior experience in early grade reading programs, as well as developing educational curricula and training will be an advantage.
Field Based Program Officers – for Banke and Surkhet
The field-based Program Officers will be provide training and technical support to teachers, schools, NGOs and local government counterparts to improve learning outcomes for children with disabilities.
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Education or other relevant subject with minimum 3 years of work experience in the field of training and local curriculum design. Prior experience in early grade reading programs for children will be an advantage.
Monitoring & Evaluation Officer – (Kathmandu based with 30% travel to project districts)
The Monitoring & Evaluation Officer will be responsible to oversee reading-related aspects of monitoring and evaluation throughout the project especially related to inclusive education. S/he will be responsible for developing and maintaining an effective M&E system, M&E tools in line with M&E strategies to be used throughout the program.
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 5 years work experience, or Master’s Degree in relevant subject area (preferably Education) with at least 3 years experience in the field of monitoring and evaluation. Candidates with prior experience leading M&E for project of similar scope in terms of geographic scope and beneficiary targets will be an advantage.
