Company: Live The Venture

Live The Venture is looking for a tour guide to take travelers around Nepal! The tour will last approximately 8 days and will consist of between 5-14 travelers.

If you love travel, adventure, spending time with people and exploring new locations then this is the job for you! Guide must be knowledgeable about the locations visited and be able to give the group a tour of the locations visited.

Must be able to travel with the group for the duration of the tour helping them and showing them the sites along the way. You will be the leader of this group and an ambassador for this region.

Locations Visited: Kathmandu, Thamel, Lukla, Phakding, Namche

We would like to discuss these locations with you and possibly add any off the beaten path type attractions which would make this tour very unique!

The tours are scheduled to begin spring 2019 and will run year round starting with one tour per month. Depending on demand we may increase our tours to two or three a month.

We are looking to begin a relationship with a guide who we can use consistently for groups coming to explore Nepal and all that is has to offer. Please reach out with any questions you may have about the position.

Applicants must have the following to be considered:

• Speak fluent English
• Be familiar with the locations visited on the tour
• Be familiar with the country, etiquette, language, currency exchange, emergency procedures, etc.
• Feel comfortable with answering questions
• Feel comfortable giving a brief orientation walk of the destinations visited
• Feel comfortable with handling conflicts that may arises
• Be able to travel with the group for the duration of the tour
• Be available to help any passengers at any time during the tour
• The ability to handle money and speak directly to hotels, restaurants, etc.
• The ability to book further accommodations for our guests if they choose
• Be able to wear Live The Venture gear while leading
• Have a proper guide license (if needed)
