HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation Nepal is a Swiss non-governmental organization actively contributing to the improvement of the living conditions of poor and disadvantaged people in Nepal. Enhanced Skills for Sustainable and Rewarding Employment (ENSSURE) is a bilateral initiative between the Government of Switzerland and the Government of Nepal. The project is being implemented by the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) and technically assisted by HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation Nepal. ENSSURE/HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation Nepal invites applications from committed and experienced Nepali citizens for the following positions:
Position: Provincial Coordinator (1)
Job Purpose:This position is responsible to ensure efficient and effective implementation of training and employment program of EVENT Technical Assistance component.
Required Education, Experience and Social competence: Master’s degree in development studies, social science, Business Management or in any relevant discipline. Minimum 5 years’ of working experience in project/programme implementation, two years’ of working experience in a TEVT sector with similar responsibilities.Working experience with industry associations/chambers will be an advantage Commitment towards gender equality, social inclusion and poverty reduction.
Duty station: Bardibas
Position: Monitoring officers (2)
Job Purpose: Monitoring Officer is responsible to carry out field monitoring at pre, during and post training stages of training and employment activities implemented by the partners. Monitoring Officer will be involved intensively on employment and income verification of training and employment in assigned location.
Required Education, Experience and Social competence: Bachelor’s degree in Social Science or Developmental Studies or Business Administration or in a relevant field. Minimum three years’ of working experience in the field of project implementation and two years’ of experience in the field of monitoring. Commitment towards gender equality, social inclusion and poverty reduction.
Duty station: Bardibas
Position: Logistic and Database Officer (1)
Job Purpose: The Logistic and Database Officer is responsible to manage and resolve technical issues of ENSSURE online database system; plan and organize capacity building support to the project team and training providers; carry out IT related tasks assigned by Country Office and support in administrative/logistic support to the project.
Required Education, Experience and Social competence: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in relevant field. At least three years’ of work experience in IT and database. Experience in administration and/or logistics management will be an advantage. Commitment towards gender equality, social inclusion and poverty reduction.
Duty station: Bhaktapur
Duration: Till December 2019 with possibility of extension
