Organization: PHASE Nepal
PHASE Nepal is a not for profit NGO established in 2006 by a group of development professionals dedicated to supporting poor communities in remote areas of Nepal. For the last 12 years, PHASE Nepal has been implementing Health, Education, and Livelihoods improvement programs in Humla, Bajura, Mugu, Gorkha, Kathmandu, and Sindhupalchok districts. Currently, PHASE Nepal’s projects on health, education, livelihoods, DRR, and research are funded by the number of institutional and individual donors from different countries. PHASE has over 140 staff working on different projects.
PHASE Nepal is currently looking for suitable candidates for the following 2 positions:
Position: c (Please note, it is not an office based position but a project site based position)
Duty Station: 70% in project areas for implementation and 30% in PHASE Office, Thimi, Bhaktapur for planning and reporting ( Chitwan and Dhading).
Duration: 7 months (Possibility of Extension)
Basic Salary and Benefits: NRS 64,000 per month (basic starting salary scale) plus 10% provident fund, provision of gratuity, festival bonus on pro-rata basis plus health and accidental insurance benefit.
Qualification and experiences:
- The candidate should have Master’s Degree preferably specialization in construction management, rural development or in sociology with a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing similar projects in managerial level with a demonstrable record of accomplishment of best performance. Good command in both written and spoken English and Nepali language, IT and reporting skills.
- Should be able to produce high quality technical as well as narrative reports of the project activities independently.Responsibilities: The Project Manager will be reporting to the Programme Manager and is responsible for the overall management of the project activities including planning, implementation, monitoring and coordinating with relevant stakeholders. S/he will be supervising project staff and frequently visiting the project areas. DAs and transport expenses are provided for project area visits.

2. Position: Field Coordinator
Duty Station: Ichhakamana Rural Municipality, Chitwan (Project Area)
Duration: 7 months (Possibility of Extension)
Basic Salary and Benefits: NRS 44,970 per month (basic starting salary scale) plus 10% provident fund, provision of gratuity, festival bonus on pro-rata basis plus health and accidental insurance benefit.
Qualification & Experiences:
- Bachelor’s degree in any stream with minimum 3 years of experience in NGO/INGOs in the similar capacity. Should focus on local level planning, community mobilization, and project implementation. Fluency of both written and spoken in English and Nepali language is essential. Should be familiar with windows packages.
