Rural Women Upliftment Association (RWUA) is an NGO dedicated to develop rural communities in Education, Health & Nutrition, Child Protection, Livelihood, Human Rights, Safer Migration, Gender and Empowerment, Good Governance, Disaster Risk Reduction and WASH in Nepal since 2050 B.S. It works with a mission to improve the lives of people through economic, social, cultural and physical transformation. It has been implementing Samunnati Program under partnership of Save the Children in Sarlahi District.

Rural Women Upliftment Association invites applications from the interested and eligible candidates (Nepali citizen only) who are reliable, accountable, honest, have learning attitude and have the ability to deliver results with the highest level of integrity for the following position under its Samunnati Program

Position Title: Overseer (Sub-Engineer)

Term: Short Term Contract (Extendable to fixed-term depending on his/her performance)

Location: Ishworpur Municipality, Sarlahi

Preferred Qualifications & experience:

• Associate Degree in Civil Sub-Engineering
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience as project sub-engineer preferably in I/NGOs
• Must of knowledge on operating Auto CAD
• Must have enough/reasonable knowledge of estimate, design and implementation of community-based and rural construction and renovations.
• Possess problem-solving skills and adaptability
• Ability to work under pressure often too strict deadlines
• Committed to working 20% in office and 80% in the field
• Must have computer literacy especially MS offices and relevant engineering software
• Poses good report writing, communication and interpersonal skills
