Sunaulo Parivar Nepal (SPN) is a well-established NGO delivering Family Planning and Sexual Reproductive Health services through-out Nepal via different service delivery channels: centres, mobile outreach, Marie Stopes (MS) ladies, and through contraceptive social marketing. It is the local implementing partner of Marie Stopes International (MSI), UK, a global social business providing reproductive health services across the world with a mission of ensuring every individual’s fundamental right to have children by choice, not chance.
We seek candidates who want to embrace new ways of working, take on multiple tasks, be a team player, and deliver sustainable results to ensure we can expand our services to reach more men and women in Nepal. We are looking for qualified and competent candidates for following positions:

1. Evidence to Action Director -1 (Kathmandu)

 

The Director of Evidence to Action (E2A) is responsible for driving the use of data to make informed decisions to increase demand and uptake for MSI/SPN’s services in Nepal. The E2A Director will lead the research and marketing departments and unify them as the ‘Evidence to Action’ department.
The position holder plays a lead role in developing marketing, branding and communications strategy to support country programme growth, delivery of quality sexual reproductive health services and market expansion. The role provides oversight to the key function of research, monitoring and evaluation, and leads the development of impactful marketing strategies effectively using data and market research insights to ensure our communication strategies are implemented across our program, ensuring improved access to core services across channel.

Minimum Requirement:

  • Master’s degree in management especially in marketing (with health background preferred). Minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing or research preferably in reproductive health related marketing.

2. Social Marketing Deputy Director- 1 (Based in Kathmandu)

The Social Marketing Deputy Director holds responsibility of distribution of products through commercial channels and create the financial portfolio that will support and create access to life saving medicines for women across Nepal. Moreover, this role will lead in opening, maintaining and building new commercial channels as well as the relationship with key stakeholders within the process.

Minimum Requirement:

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration with at least 6 years of experience in sales and marketing (experience in pharmaceutical markets or development sector is preferred).

3. Social Marketing Manager -1 (Based in Kathmandu)

The Social Marketing Manager is responsible to expand and develop the range and sales of products and profitability from trainings. The position’s responsibilities include providing advice to increase financial sustainability of social marketing programme and other commercial ventures looking at both expanding existing products and introducing new products/services to the market.

Minimum Requirement:

  • Master’s degree in management especially in marketing with at least 5 years of proven work experience in Marketing/ sales (preferably health marketing).

4. Research Officer -1 (Kathmandu)

The Research Officer will contribute to develop and deliver research monitoring and evaluation plans for organization to support strategic goals; facilitate integration of RME into other departments of the organization; and support in conducting research, monitoring and evaluation activities (both qualitative and quantitative).

Minimum Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in public health, statistics or relevant field with minimum of 3 years’ experience of working in research and metrics, ideally within the Reproductive Health sector. Should have a good understanding of and exposure to statistical software e.g. SPSS and proficient in Microsoft office .

5. Staff Nurse — 3 (Based in Chandrauta, Dadeldhura and Hile)

Staff Nurse will be responsible to provide quality family planning service to clients, assist doctor in major procedures, provide pre-and post-operative care and counseling to clients and oversee center administration

Minimum Requirement:

  • The candidates must have PCL Nursing degree with SBA training and should be registered in Nepal Nursing Council. IUCD, Implant and CAC trained candidates are preferred.

6. DG Coordinator – 2 ((Based in Chandrauta and Dang)

The Demand Generation (DG) Coordinator will be responsible to implement community IPC and demand generation activation strategy, provide leadership and guidance to community level demand generation team and analyze client segment and family planning statusof assigned location.

Minimum Requirement:

Intermediate level in any discipline (Bachelor’s degree preferred) with minimum of 1-year experience in carrying out demand generation or sales activities (preferably focused on SRH), Locals with two-wheeler and a valid driving license preferred.


7. Admin Officer -1 (Based in Kathmandu)

This position is responsible for the smooth operation of administrative and logistic activities in the organization. S/he is responsible for providing support to staff and visitors regarding their travel, hotel bookings, visas, flights. S/he will provide adequate administrative support in insurance of the staffs and assets.

Minimum Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s level in Management with minimum of 3 years of relevant experience specially in admin and logistics management.
    Candidates with secretarial course is preferred.
