CWISH is a non-profit Human Rights Organization working to uphold the rights of children youth and women for more than two decades in Nepal. Its operation in the grassroots level are for complementary services & capacity buildings of different communities and collaborating with different stakeholders for advocacy and institutional development. In this context, CWISH is urgently looking for the following positions for the effective implementation of several projects for protecting and promoting the rights of children in Nepal. Project Coordinator – 2 (Based in Kathmandu)

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Master’s Degree in Sociology / Social Work / Development Studies or relevant area
2. Sound and proven knowledge in program management
3. At least 3 years of experience in the field of program management or program coordination, experience of working with human rights/ child rights/ child protection, preferred good documentation skill
4. Able to communicate fluently in both written and spoken English and Nepali Language.
5. Sound knowledge in computer in handling all the office packages.

Job Description:

1. Develop periodic plan of action and communicate with staff to implement overall project activities under supervision of thematic team, track the achievement of project and support field staff to implement the project activities.
2. Monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of the program in operation and report them to the program management.
3. Coordinate and facilitate to conduct district level trainings and advocacy related to programme to raise the child protection issues.
4. Track the accomplishment of the field activities and report them to the program management with necessary feedback.
5. Coordinate among all the line agencies and other stakeholders and create synergy in the program.
6. Represent and communicate the voice of CWISH in the center and district level.
7. Timely reporting and coordination with donor/stakeholders as required.
8. Documentation of success stories and best practices during the project implementation.
9. Conduct regular field visits as per need.

Education:

1. Bachelor Degree in Sociology / Social Work / Development Studies or relevant area

Job Specification:

1. Sound and proven knowledge in program management
2. At least 3 years of experience in the field of program management or program coordination, experience of working with human rights/child rights/ child protection based organizations is preferred.\good documentation skill
3. Able to communicate in English and Nepali Language fluency in both written and spoken
4. Sound knowledge in computer in handling all the office packages.

Job Description:

Child Protection Officer – 3 (Based in Doti, Parsa and Morang)

Minimum Qualifications:

1. At least Bachelor Degree in Social Science
2. Sound knowledge on Child Rights, child protection, child friendly local governance
3. High level of sensitivity and commitment to ensure child rights and child protection
4. At least two years of working experience in the field of child rights, child labour and child protection
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Nepali and preferred the candidates with basic communication skills in local language.
6. Computer skills (basic office package)
7. Ability to work independently, collaboratively and effectively as a part of team and capacity to collaborate with line agencies including municipalities.

Major Responsibilities:

1. Implementation of designated project activities as assigned in respective cluster.
2. Organize meeting, workshop to implement the project and building the capacity of concerned stakeholders
3. Prepare periodic reporting, documentation of the success stories, innovations, best practices and learning
4. Monitoring and follow up of the community actions along with adequate documentation and communication with relevant section and stakeholders.
5. Act as local resource person of the respective clusters and represent CWISH in the district and municipal level.
6. Timely reporting to line manager and coordination with stakeholders in respective program areas.
7. Able to travel frequently in the different project areas.


Communication and Documentation Officer – 1 (Based in Kathmandu)

Education:

At least Bachelor’s Degree in Media, Communication, Journalism

Job specification:

1. At least 2 years of experience working in media (print, electronic, web).
2. Able to communicate in English and Nepali language; fluency in both written and spoken.
3. Proficiency of typing in both Nepali and English
4. Sound knowledge of computer hardware and software including Photoshop and all office packages
5. Familiar in upgrading and updating organizational website, blogs and other social media
6. Creativity in Designing IEC Materials
7. Creativity in production of Radio and Television programs
8. Demonstrated Skills in documenting success stories, case studies, maintaining media library and resource center.

Job Description:

1. Design and Develop Communication Strategies as per the objective of the organization
2. Prepare Communication Action Plan (CAP) of all the projects and implement accordingly
3. Prepare and Design IEC Materials (Posters, Brochures, Leaflets, Pamphlets)
4. Coordinate on Production and Broadcasting of PSAs, Radio Programs/ Television Program
5. Regularly update the website and social media (facebook, youtube) of the organizations
6. Maintain and Update Media Library
7. Prepare Media Monitoring Report
8. Prepare Quarterly Newsletter
9. Responsible for preparing and publishing organizational publications, Books, Magazines, Reports etc


Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Officer – 1 (Based in Kathmandu)

Minimum Qualifications:

1. At least Bachelor Degree in Social Sciences
2. Minimum 2 years of experience working in non-government sector specially on monitoring and evaluation
3. Must be Fluent in English and Nepali (written and spoken)

Major Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and Design Monitoring and Evaluation Plan of projects and programs
2. Support in finalizing minimum standards of activities
3. Ensure Accountability (bottom to top & top to bottom) and incorporate Learning
4. Lead / support while investigating complaints / suggestions / feedbacks.
5. MEAL Quality Monitoring Field visits
6. Ensure and Update Project Action Plan Tracker
7. Generate MEAL report


Social Mobilizer – 1 (Based in Panauti, Kavre)

Education:

Intermediate Level in Social Science

Job specification:

1. Sound and proven knowledge in social mobilization
2. At least 3 years of experience working in the community and schools
3. Good documentation, communication skills and tactful dealing with the stakeholders
4. Fluency in written and spoken Nepali, knowledge of English shall be additional benefit
5. Sound knowledge in computer in handling all the office packages

Job Description:

1. Working together with the existing mechanism/ structure in the respective cluster
2. Implementation of designated plan/ programs in respective cluster / area.
3. Monitoring and Follow up of the community actions along with adequate documentation and communication with relevant section and stakeholders.
4. Documentation of the good practices, success stories from the community and schools
5. Prepare activity reports
6. Act as local resource person and team leader of the respective clusters.
