Thailand, the land of smiles, and rightly so because there is so much so smile about. Last night was Thai Night at Miss Universe. We celebrated it by doing a Thai silk fashion show, having dinner with affluent Thai members of society, and conducting the auction gift. It was the most wonderful night for Nepal.
Nepal, as many of you know our auction gift to MU was a Buddhist Shadow box that Kayo helped me bring to reality. Our gift was one of the most popular auction items at last night’s event. It was sold for 310,000 bhat ~ $9,600. I was shocked and internally jumping with joy. The Thai people love Nepal, it’s people and culture, and I was proud and honored to share our piece of heritage with them. I prey that the deep friendship between Thailand and Nepal continues to newer heights.
Manita Devkota Miss Universe Nepal 2018 raised in total 310,000 Thai Baht (Nepali Rs 10 lakhs / USD $9,600) which was the highest amount raised in last night’s auction. Miss Universe org will receive all the money from the auction and it will be a great way for Nepal to get noticed by MU org.
It is high Time we support Our Miss universe Like we are supporting our Lovely Miss World Shrinkhala… She needs our support.
