National Society for Earthquake Technology-Nepal ( NSET), with funding support from United States Agency for International Development (USAID), is implementing a 5- years of “Baliyo Ghar Program” to contribute to safer reconstruction in Nepal.
The objective of program is to ensure disaster-resilient construction of houses through awareness, training, demonstration and support on code compliance. The program aims to expand the technical knowledge and expertise gathered during the program implementation for achieving the broader goal of disaster resilient housing construction in Nepal.
National Society for Earthquake Technology-Nepal (NSET) seeks application for the following positions from eligible candidates. Interested candidate are encouraged to apply not later than 5:30 pm, Thursday, 16 November 2017. Vacant positions:
1. Civil Engineer
Number of position:– 2 persons
Work station: Kathmandu & Nuwakot Districts
Appointment type: Full time staff for 1 year with possibility of extension
Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineer
Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in similar field.
2. Technical Officer- Engineer
Number of position:- 18 persons
Work station: Dhading, Nuwakot and Dolakha Districts
Appointment type: Full time staff for 1 year with possibility of extension Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineer
Experience: Preferably 1 year experience in similar work. (Fresh candidate can also apply)
3. Software Engineer
Number of position:- 1 person
Work station: Kathmandu District
Appointment type: Full time staff for 1 year with possibility of extension
Qualification: Minimum Bachelor level
Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in computer programming.
4. Social Development Officer
Number of position:- 10 persons
Work station: Dhading, Nuwakot and Dolakha Districts
Appointment type: Full time staff for 1 year with possibility of extension
Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Social Science/ Social Studies
Experience: Minimum 1 year of work experience in community mobilization.
5. Admin Assistant
Number of position:- 1 person
Work station: Dolakha District
Appointment type: Full time staff for 1 year with possibility of extension
Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Business Studies
Experience: Preferably 1 year experience in similar work
6. Information Documentation Officer
Number of position:- 1 person
Work station: Dolakha District
Appointment type: Full time staff for 1 year with possibility of extension
Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Social Work! Business Administration/ Rural Development
Experience: Preferably 1 year experience in similar work
7. Civil Sub-Engineer
Number of position:- 1 person
Work station: Dhading District
Appointment type: Full time staff for 1 year with possibility of extension
Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering
Experience: Preferably 1 year experience in similar work
8. Graphic Designer
Number of position:- 1 person
Work station: Kathmandu

Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Graphic Designing
Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in similar work
