Job Description
Reporting to: CEO /Head of Department
Department: Inbound/outbound
Purpose of the position:
To coordinate with all the official ticketing procedures by providing the supplemental administrative supports and coordinate with all airlines and offices as per requirement.
Responsibilities and duties:
The Ticketing Officer is responsible for:
• Book flight tickets for clients and customers in accordance with their requests
• Book bulk tickets for package tours
• Provide client with travel information and ticket booking details.
• Organize, schedule and book traveling tickets in accordance with individual travel plans
• Issue tickets and quote correct fares and tariffs, to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize customer complaints on a daily basis
• Collect appropriate fares from customers upon delivery of travel tickets
• Consulates and inform to other co- worker and make them update always
• Deal with customer professionally and provide all relevant information if required and assist them on genuine way
• Follow up the clients regarding their issuance of ticket and reminding the time schedule
• Keep data of each and every client if they take any services related with the department
• Dealing with payments like collecting and processing payments and forward to finance department
• Keeping clients up to date with any changes and making alternative arrangements for customers
• Coordinating all the staffs regarding the ticketing
• Maintain files and control records of all clients to whom tickets are issued
• Prepare and execute actions plans, which increase reservation sales and associated business
• Any others specified by the Management
• Handling the inquiries related to domestic and international air ticketing
• Carry out all follow up procedures pertaining to customer travel, i.e. reconfirmation, rescheduling and reissuing of air tickets
