Position: Senior Executive Office Manager

Job Description
The Senior Executive Office Manager directly reports to and is responsible for the management of the office of the Ambassador/Head of Mission in managing:
• Contacts with different department of Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) and public offices of Government of Nepal
• Relationships across a broad range of stakeholders, including diplomatic missions, international development agencies, multilateral organizations, civil society organizations, and private sector representatives
• Preparation of official correspondence such as note verbale, condolence letters, thank you notes, messages to the Swiss community (in Nepal in close coordination with the Consular Affairs) for the Ambassador
• Preparation of briefing materials for the Ambassador’s public protocol and diplomatic events in close coordination with the Political Adviser
Required Technical Competence
• Master’s degree in international relations, business, political science, communication studies or other relevant fields
• At least 3 years professional experience in the relevant field with proven capacity for taking charge of clearly demarcated duties with high degree of responsibility
• Experience in coordinating official events or event planning with a background in diplomatic missions
• Good understanding and knowledge of protocol standards and etiquette consistent with other international protocol standards
• Excellent spoken and written English and Nepali
• Excellent communication skills, including ease of communication with diplomatic missions and offices of the Government of Nepal
• Excellent knowledge and aptitude of computer and different software applications
• Excellent organizational skills
