Minimum Qualifications:
- Master in Engineering or equivalent degree in Renewable Energy, Agriculture or Environmental Management
- High level Knowledge of reciprocal piston pumps, R&D, product market fit and the solar water pumping industry
- Fluency in English and Dutch Languages
Minimum Experience:
- 5 years’ experience in renewable energy sector including product management
- 2 years of practical experience with reciprocal piston pumps, preferably solar pumps
- Experience of working in Multi-Cultural Work Environment
Major Tasks to be performed:
- Identify new product opportunities –
- Set-up and execute R&D activities for several product lines
- Improve product market fit of the current product lines
- Engage with designers and manufacturers to support product improvement
- Conduct field visits as required
- Conduct impact assessments of potential products
- Recommend efficiency and productivity improvements
- Build capacity of local sales and technical teams
