Irrfan Khan Dead : Bollywood Actor Died age 54

Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan has died at the age of 54. He died at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai on Tuesday, the Hindustan Times reported.

Khan was admitted to the ICU of the hospital yesterday after his health condition suddenly deteriorated. A spokesman for Khan described him as having a “colon infection”.

Last year, Khan returned to London after a long illness. At the time, he had a neuroendocrine tumor. On his return from London, he was under the care of a doctor at Kokilaben Hospital. Last year, he acted in only one film, English Medium. His condition was not good even while working on the film.

Khan’s mother Saida Begum also passed away recently. Due to the lockdown, Irfan was not able to attend his mother’s last visit. He paid tribute to his mother through a video call.

Irfan, who is known for his skillful acting, has acted in films like Salam Bombay, Maqbool, Pan Singh Tomar, The Lunchbox, Haider, Gunde, Piku and Talbhar.
