Role Description

The Field Visitor is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu. The primary responsibilities include visiting hostels to collect and verify accurate property information, updating the database with these findings, cultivating strong relationships with hostel owners, and representing HostelSarathi in fostering partnerships. Additional tasks may include collaborating with the internal team for continuous service enhancement and gathering feedback from customers and stakeholders. This role requires active engagement, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to drive the mission of improving the hostel living ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Strong observation, note-taking, and data collection skills for property visits and data validation.
• Proficiency in communication, negotiation, and relationship building with property managers and stakeholders.
• Ability to use smart devices and applications for real-time data updates and location tracking.
• Familiarity with property management processes, customer relationship practices, and user satisfaction strategies.
• Self-motivated with excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Possession of a motorbike and a valid driving license is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is highly desirable but not required.
• Knowledge of the local hostel and housing market is a plus.
