Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Pharmacy Assistant located in Kathmandu. The Pharmacy Assistant will be responsible for supporting the processing of prescriptions, maintaining accurate inventory management within the pharmacy, assisting customers with their inquiries and purchases, and demonstrating exemplary phone etiquette when addressing patient questions or coordinating with healthcare professionals. Additionally, the role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining impeccable organizational standards within the pharmacy.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in handling prescriptions and accuracy in their processing
• Knowledge of pharmacy operations and effective inventory management
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing supportive and professional assistance
• Excellent phone etiquette and ability to effectively communicate with patients and professionals
• Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and organizational skills
• Basic knowledge of relevant regulations and safety protocols in pharmaceutical environments
• Prior experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent; certifications in pharmacy services are an added advantage
