Dispatch Officer

Job Description

• Plan, schedule, and supervise daily dispatch operations in alignment with sales orders and production output.

• Ensure timely and accurate loading and dispatch of cement products (bulk and bagged) to customers and distribution points.

• Coordinate with production, warehouse, and transport teams to maintain smooth dispatch flow and avoid delays.
  
  

ï‚

• Monitor vehicle movement, turnaround time, and optimize logistics for cost efficiency.
  
  

ï‚

• Maintain dispatch documentation including invoices, delivery notes, weighbridge records, and transport logs.
  
  

ï‚

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  
  

ï‚

• Handle and resolve dispatch-related issues such as delays, shortages, or customer complaints.
  
  

ï‚

• Track inventory movement and ensure proper stock reconciliation with warehouse records.
  
  

ï‚

• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance dispatch efficiency and accuracy.
  
  

ï‚

• Lead, supervise, and train dispatch staff to maintain high performance and discipline.
  
  

ï‚

• Prepare and present dispatch reports, KPIs, and performance analysis to management.
