Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu for an Education Counselor. The Education Counselor will provide personalized guidance to students exploring international study opportunities, assist with course and university selection, offer career counseling tailored to student goals, and provide end-to-end support for application and visa processes. The role will also involve conducting informational sessions, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of global education trends, and fostering relationships with partner institutions.

Qualifications

Skills in Educational Consulting and Student Counseling for guiding students in their academic and career choices

Proficiency in Career Counseling to align students’ education plans with their professional aspirations

Strong Communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and institutional representatives

Extensive knowledge of various education systems and program options globally

Passion for supporting and mentoring students with a student-first, empathetic approach

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field is preferred

Prior experience in educational consulting or counseling roles is an advantage

Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet deadlines

Proficiency in major languages, including English; additional language skills are a plus
