Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu for a USA Counselor. The counselor will be responsible for advising prospective students on education programs in the United States, conducting assessments to understand their academic and career aspirations, and providing tailored guidance on course and institution selection. They will also play a role in assisting with visa applications, documenting requirements, and coordinating with educational institutions. Building relationships with students and addressing their queries will be a critical part of the day-to-day responsibilities.

Qualifications

Student counseling, career planning, and academic guidance skills

Proficiency in analyzing academic credentials and recommending suitable courses and universities

Knowledge of visa regulations and application processes for studying in the United States

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and educational institutions

Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing application processes and documentation

Familiarity with education systems in the United States is highly desirable

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field is preferred
