Avina Care is hiring a Community Nurse in Kathmandu to provide professional door-to-door nursing services in guests' homes.

We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and field-ready nurse with 2-3 years of experience who can deliver safe, respectful, and professional care in home settings.

About the Role

This is a field-based home-care nursing role. The nurse will travel across Kathmandu for scheduled home visits, support patients and families, document care clearly, and escalate clinical concerns when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit guests at home across Kathmandu

• Perform basic nursing assessments, including vitals, symptom review, and general observation

• Provide in-home nursing care within scope of practice

• Support medication adherence, wound dressing, injections if authorized, mobility support, chronic care follow-up, and post-discharge monitoring

• Educate patients and families on care, hygiene, nutrition, medication, mobility, and follow-up

• Document each visit accurately

• Escalate urgent clinical concerns appropriately

• Maintain professional, compassionate, and punctual service

Requirements

• Legally certified nurse eligible to practice in Nepal

• Active Nepal Nursing Council (NNC) registration is mandatory

• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory

• 2-3 years of relevant nursing experience

• Based in Kathmandu

• Valid bike/scooter driving license

• Comfortable traveling independently for home visits

• Strong communication skills in Nepali

• Working spoken English preferred

• Reliable, empathetic, professional, and confident working independently

Transport Support

Avina Care will either provide a scooter for field visits or reimburse fuel and routine maintenance expenses for approved work travel.
