Job Description

The Receptionist will be responsible for managing the front desk operations, welcoming visitors, handling calls, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth office functioning. The role requires excellent communication skills, a professional attitude, and strong organizational abilities.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and welcome visitors, vendors, and shareholders in a professional manner.

Handle incoming telephone calls, determine the purpose of the call, and forward them to the appropriate personnel or department.

Schedule appointments and maintain the visitor logbook.

Provide information about the company and its hydropower projects when required.

Manage office supplies including stationery, equipment, and furniture.

Assist in preparing documents and materials for board meetings, including arranging papers and folders.

Address shareholders’ inquiries and complaints and escalate issues to management when necessary.

Perform data entry tasks and maintain records using relevant software programs.

Assist administrative staff with additional tasks such as documentation, word processing, internet research, and other office-related duties.

Ensure compliance with office health, safety, and quality standards.

Job Specification

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Receptionist (Freshers are also encouraged to apply).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Good knowledge of MS Office and basic computer applications.

Professional appearance and positive attitude.

Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
