Job Description
The Branch Fiber Head / Branch Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the branch’s fiber network operations, including installation, maintenance, and connectivity performance. The role involves leading technical teams, coordinating installation projects, ensuring network reliability, managing branch operations, and maintaining high customer satisfaction while supporting sales and growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Branch & Operations Management
Lead branch fiber operations and ensure alignment with company goals and service standards.
Plan and implement strategies for fiber network expansion and maintenance.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth branch operations.
Fiber Network Installation & Maintenance
Oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of fiber optic installations.
Ensure installations are completed on time and meet quality standards.
Monitor network functionality and implement preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues with technical teams.
Team Leadership
Lead, supervise, and mentor fiber technicians and technical staff.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide training and development support.
Ensure teams follow operational and safety guidelines.
Customer Service & Support
Coordinate with customer support teams to resolve technical complaints.
Ensure timely and effective solutions to connectivity issues.
Maintain strong customer satisfaction through efficient service delivery.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure all fiber installation and maintenance work follows safety standards and regulations.
Maintain a safe working environment for all field and technical staff.
Branch Administration
Manage branch assets, inventory, generator and power supply systems.
Ensure proper cleanliness and hospitality standards at the branch.
Handle incident coordination and support staff operational requirements.
Cash & Financial Handling
Ensure customer payments collected at the branch are properly recorded and deposited on time.
Maintain petty cash records with valid PAN/VAT bills and control branch expenses.
Coordinate with the finance department for petty cash settlements.
Market & Business Support
Identify opportunities for expanding fiber services in the market.
Support marketing and sales teams with technical insights to improve customer conversion.
Job Specification
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Telecommunications, Management, or a related field.
Experience in fiber network operations, telecommunications, or branch operations is preferred.
Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and teams effectively.
