Sales Executive

Job Summary

The Sales Account Executive will contribute in expanding our business by conducting sales activities within their assigned boundaries. He/she will not only help us in maintaining our existing accounts, but also help us in bringing in new business opportunities for our organization.

Job Description

The responsibilities that the Sales Account Executive will take are as follow

  • Develop and identify new business opportunities which helps retain existing customers as well as acquire new customers.
  • Meet sales growth plans set by our Sales and Business Development teams.
  • Present and negotiate with relevant parties.
  • Understand the needs of our customers and provide relevant products and services based on the market conditions and capacity.
  • Help resolve customer issues through communication and strategic actions.
  • Work in collaboration with internal groups to encourage efficient workflow, high quality service output and communicate sales strategies.

Required Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Prior experience and knowledge in sales in a similar industry (Small Package Delivery, Freight Forwarding etc)

Additional Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
  • 1+ years experience in a similar field preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams
  • Ability to resolve operational issues that may arise through strategy and communication
  • Ability to meet sales deadlines
  • Able to make use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint effectively
  • Prior experience using CRM tools such as Sailboat etc. are preferred

Interpersonal Skills

  • Superior Customer Service traits
  • Competent in maintaining relationships with stakeholders
  • Respects and adheres to company policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Motorcycle License Required*
