Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain & Logistics Management

Manage end-to-end logistics operations, including inbound material movement and outbound finished goods distribution.

Coordinate closely with the Factory/Plant Manager to align logistics planning with production schedules.

Ensure integration with ERP/digital logistics systems for real-time visibility and operational control.

Outbound Logistics & Distribution

Oversee dispatch planning, vehicle allocation, and route optimization to ensure timely deliveries.

Manage bulk shipments, jar distribution, and secondary transportation networks across regions.

Monitor delivery timelines and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).

Transportation & Fleet Coordination

Coordinate with transporters, drivers, and third-party logistics providers.

Optimize route planning and vehicle utilization to improve efficiency and reduce logistics costs.

Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, escalations, and delivery issues.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

Track logistics KPIs such as on-time delivery, load utilization, and transportation cost efficiency.

Prepare regular performance reports with actionable insights for management.

Identify process gaps and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Coordination & Stakeholder Management

Collaborate with sales, warehouse, and production teams for smooth order fulfillment.

Maintain strong relationships with transport vendors and service providers.

Ensure effective communication between operations, transporters, and field logistics teams.

Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure compliance with Nepal transport regulations and company policies.

Monitor safety standards in the transportation and handling of goods.

Identify potential logistics risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
