Overview

We are seeking a Junior Frontend Engineer to contribute to production-grade applications used by

real customers. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across modern frontend systems,

backend integrations, cloud infrastructure, and AI-assisted engineering workflows.

This role emphasizes debugging skills, ownership mindset, and adaptability in fast-paced product

environments.

Core Responsibilities

Frontend Development

• Build and maintain applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.

• Develop reusable UI systems using ShadCN UI and Tailwind CSS.

• Implement scalable frontend architecture within monorepo environments.

• Build frontend workflows using Next.js Server Actions.

• Manage server state and API caching with React Query.

Engineering Workflow

• Work within GitHub-based development workflows.

• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.

• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to boost productivity.

Backend & Infrastructure

• Integrate frontend systems with backend APIs.

• Support backend development tasks using Python.

• Work with AWS infrastructure and deployment workflows.

• Assist in debugging production and deployment issues.

Production Engineering

• Investigate and resolve real-world production issues.

• Analyze application performance and reliability bottlenecks.

• Collaborate with product, backend, and design teams.

• Contribute to applications actively used by customers.

Required Skills

Frontend Stack

• React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, ShadCN UI, React Query, Next.js Server Actions

Architecture & Tooling

• Monorepo architecture (Turborepo/Nx), Git and GitHub workflows, GitHub Actions CI/CD

Backend & Cloud

• Python backend experience, AWS infrastructure familiarity, API integration experience

AI Engineering Workflow

• Experience with AI-assisted tools such as ChatGPT, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar.

Expectations

• Strong debugging and analytical thinking

• Ability to identify root causes independently

• Understanding of frontend performance optimization

• Experience working on real applications serving users/customers

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Ownership mindset and attention to code quality

Experience

• 1-2 years of frontend or full-stack engineering experience

• Experience contributing to production applications preferred
