Procurement ManagerKey Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the complete procurement lifecycle, including sourcing, RFQ, vendor evaluation, negotiation, and contract finalization

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and supplier performance

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and negotiate favorable pricing, terms, and long-term agreements

• Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply risks to ensure strategic purchasing decisions

• Ensure timely procurement of goods and services aligned with operational and production requirements

• Oversee inventory planning in coordination with store and operations teams to avoid stockouts or overstocking

• Establish and enforce procurement policies, SOPs, and compliance standards

• Review and approve purchase orders, contracts, and vendor agreements

• Resolve high-level procurement issues, including supply delays, quality concerns, and contract disputes

• Lead cross-functional coordination with finance, logistics, and operations departments

• Analyze procurement data and prepare reports on cost savings, vendor performance, and efficiency improvements

• Manage and mentor procurement team members, setting KPIs and performance goals

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred)

• 5–8 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, with at least 2 years in a managerial role

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Proven experience in vendor negotiation and contract management

• Strong understanding of procurement strategies, cost optimization, and supply planning

• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems

• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure

Preferred Skills

• Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or retail industry

• Knowledge of import/export regulations and international sourcing

• Strong supplier network and market awareness

• Experience in budget planning and cost control
