4+ years of experience in key account management, category management, or commercial strategy in retail, e-commerce, or a related sector.
Proven track record of leading high-performance teams and managing large brands or seller portfolios.
Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Analytical mindset with a solid grasp of business KPIs and financial performance metrics.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, data-driven, and dynamic environment.
Experience in managing cross-functional projects and influencing senior stakeholders.
Job Requirements
The Head of Key Accounts leads the key accounts and strategic brand portfolio for Daraz. You will own the end-to-end commercial success of major partners, from relationship management and business planning to execution of campaigns, performance tracking, and cross-functional alignment. This role combines strategic leadership, people management, data-driven decision-making, and customer/stakeholder excellence.
Job Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement category-specific growth strategies for FMCG industry.
Drive commercial excellence and revenue performance across key accounts and brands.
Act as a business partner to leading brands, ensuring alignment on goals and growth initiatives.
Key Account & Brand Management
Lead, coach, and manage a team of Key Account Managers to strengthen partner relationships and maximize commercial performance.
Negotiate strategic deals, campaign participation, and exclusive brand partnerships.
Monitor and improve seller/brand growth metrics including assortment, pricing, availability, and content quality.
Business Performance & Analytics
Monitor category performance against KPIs including GMV, orders, growth rates, and contribution margins.
Use data insights to identify growth opportunities, resolve gaps, and inform decision-making.
Collaborate with the Business Intelligence and Finance teams to track category P&L and performance targets.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with Marketing, Operations, Pricing, and Product teams to execute campaigns, optimize user experience, and improve operational efficiency.
Align with regional category teams and Group-level initiatives to drive consistency and innovation.
Platform Growth & Innovation
Formulate new business models, product innovations, and digital transformation opportunities for key partners.
Ensure the platform remains competitive and category-leading in assortment, pricing, and experience.
