Software Engineer I (QA)

Experience

2 to 3 years in QA (with at least 2 years in QA automation using Python)

Kathmandu

About The Role

We’re looking for a Software Engineer I (QA) to design and implement test strategies, automation frameworks, and quality processes for data-driven platforms. You’ll work closely with engineering teams to ensure robust, scalable, and high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute manual and automated test plans.

Build regression test suites and maintain test environments.

Analyze large datasets and ensure data quality.

Collaborate with developers and data engineers on data ingestion/distribution platforms.

Requirements

Strong programming skills in Python Tech Stack.

Hands-on experience with test automation (Selenium, Python).

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with SQL Databases, No-SQL Databases and ability to write SQL and aggregation pipelines in MongoDB.

Familiarity with AWS.

Hands on experience with git.

Experience with test management tools (Jira X-ray) is a plus.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban, SAFe).

Experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).

Familiarity with US healthcare data.
