Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a QC Trainee based in Kathmandu. The selected candidate will initially undergo practical training at the company’s knitwear manufacturing facility in Biratnagar for 1–2 months to gain hands-on exposure to knitwear production processes, quality standards, garment construction, and inspection procedures.

Upon successful completion of the training period, the candidate will continue in the Kathmandu office/factory operations, supporting quality control activities to ensure that all knitwear products meet defined quality and buyer standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

Travel to different factory in Kathmandu valley to assist in inline and final garment inspections under supervisor guidance.

Learn to identify fabric, stitching, measurement, and finishing defects.

Support measurement checking as per approved spec sheets.

Maintain QC reports and inspection records in Excel.

Coordinate with production and merchandising teams regarding quality issues.

Learn and follow buyer quality requirements and AQL standards.

Assist senior QC team members in maintaining product quality throughout production.

Ensure proper documentation and reporting of inspection findings.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Diploma in Textile, Garment, Fashion Technology, or related field preferred.

Freshers are encouraged to apply.

Strong willingness to learn garment manufacturing and quality processes.

Basic understanding or interest in knitwear and garment construction.

Good observation skills and attention to detail.

Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.

Good communication and reporting skills.

Must be willing to travel to Factory during the training period.

Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Willingness to travel and work in factory environments.

Basic understanding of garment quality standards will be an added advantage.
