Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu for an Event and BTL Activation Manager. The role involves planning, developing, and executing end-to-end event and below-the-line (BTL) activation campaigns for various clients, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and marketing strategies. The manager will coordinate with internal creative, production, and digital teams, as well as vendors, venues, and partners, to deliver high-quality events, promotions, and on-ground activations on time and within budget. Daily responsibilities include preparing event concepts and proposals, creating detailed project timelines, overseeing logistics, staffing, branding materials, and on-site setup, and managing risk and contingency plans. The role also includes client servicing, cost estimation, negotiation with suppliers, tracking campaign performance, and preparing post-event reports and insights for optimization of future activities. The manager is expected to maintain strong market awareness, identify new activation opportunities, and ensure all executions follow brand guidelines and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

Proven experience in event management and BTL activations, including planning, execution, and on-ground supervision for brand promotions, roadshows, trade events, and experiential marketing.

Strong project and operations management skills, with the ability to manage timelines, budgets, logistics, vendor coordination, and multi-location activations under tight deadlines.

Client servicing and communication skills, including requirements gathering, proposal development, presentation of concepts, and maintaining long-term client relationships.

Creative thinking and concept development abilities to translate marketing objectives into engaging event formats, interactive activities, and on-ground brand experiences.

Analytical and reporting skills to track event KPIs, gather feedback, prepare post-activation reports, and recommend improvements for future campaigns.

Knowledge of integrated marketing, including how events and BTL activations align with ATL, digital, and social media campaigns for cohesive brand communication.

Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams and on-ground staff, with strong people management, negotiation, and problem-solving capabilities.
