Nepal on the Web, an emerging online news platform, is looking for a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Associate. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building partnerships, and driving revenue growth through innovative strategies tailored for the online news industry.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough market research to identify potential advertisers, sponsors, and content partners in the digital news space.

Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients, including businesses and organizations interested in advertising.

Prepare and deliver engaging presentations and proposals to potential clients, highlighting the benefits of advertising on our platform.

Collaborate with the editorial teams to create compelling promotional strategies and content offerings.

Track and analyze sales metrics, audience engagement, and market trends to inform business decisions.

Attend industry events and networking functions to promote the platform and establish connections.

Provide insights and feedback to management on market trends, audience needs, and competitor activities.

Qualifications

Experience in conducting market research and generating business leads

Proficiency in delivering engaging presentations and strong presentation skills

Communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships

Ability to proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities

Educational background in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred

Must have own vehicle for client meetings and outreach.
