Development of Baal Bahas II: A Child-Friendly Toolkit for Child Clubs and Children's Groups/Agencies

Consortium Nepal is a national network of organizations working to promote children's rights with a particular focus on strengthening meaningful child participation in decision-making processes at all levels. Over the years, Consortium Nepal has supported child clubs and children's groups to engage in dialogue, advocacy, and civic participation through various initiatives.

Building on the learning and success of the first Baal Bahas resource, Consortium Nepal intends to develop Baal Bahas II, an updated and practical child-friendly toolkit that equips children with knowledge, skills, and tools to facilitate discussions, learning, advocacy, and collective action on emerging child rights issues in their groups.

The toolkit will be designed for use by child clubs, children's groups, facilitators, schools, civil society organizations, and community-based organizations. It will promote interactive learning through practical exercises, games, discussion methods, and child-friendly resources that can be adapted to different contexts.

To develop a comprehensive, practical, and child-friendly Baal Bahas II Toolkit that strengthens the capacity of child clubs and children's groups to understand, discuss, and advocate on contemporary child rights issues through participatory learning approaches.

The consultant will be responsible for the overall development of the toolkit, including consultation, drafting, validation, revision, and finalization.

The assignment is expected to be completed within 45 working days from the date of contract signing.

The consultant will work under the overall supervision of the Consortium Nepal, and in close coordination with National Child Advocate Council memnbers and the assigned technical team throughout the assignment.
