Position Overview
Shaurya Cement Industries Limited is seeking a competent and experienced Finance & Accounts professional with a strong background in Manufacturing or Trading organizations. The ideal candidate should have an MBS or MBA in Finance/Accounting and possess strong practical knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, MIS, costing, taxation, and preparation of complete financial statements.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day financial accounting and reporting functions.
Prepare and finalize complete financial statements, including the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, and related financial reports.
Prepare and analyze regular MIS reports for management decision-making.
Prepare budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and financial performance reports.
Conduct product-wise costing, cost analysis, and profitability analysis.
Monitor and control manufacturing and operational costs, including raw materials, fuel, power, packing, and production expenses.
Manage inventory accounting, valuation, stock verification, and reconciliation through ERP/SAP systems.
Ensure timely compliance with VAT, Income Tax, TDS, and other applicable statutory requirements.
Coordinate with internal, tax, and statutory auditors.
Maintain and strengthen accounting procedures, internal controls, and financial governance.
Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for effective business decisions.
Lead, supervise, and mentor the Finance & Accounts team.
Coordinate with factory and other business units regarding financial and accounting matters.
Qualification & Experience
Master’s degree in Business Studies (MBS) or MBA in Finance/Accounting is mandatory.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
Candidates must be currently working in a Manufacturing or Trading organization.
Strong practical experience in preparing complete financial statements and management reports.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in MIS preparation and analysis.
Sound knowledge of financial accounting, cost accounting, budgeting, inventory management, taxation, and financial controls.
Experience with ERP/SAP or other accounting systems will be preferred.
Experience in the cement, steel, FMCG, trading, or other manufacturing/process industries will be an added advantage.
Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel frequently to the factory located in Mirchaiya, Siraha.
