📋 Job Description

Social Awareness Centre (SAC) Nepal is a NGO dedicated to upholding the rights of marginalized and excluded communities through its interventions on Health, Education, Livelihood, Protection and Climate Change, Disaster Management and Humanitarian Support including Organizational Development and GEDSI. It works with a vision for capable and prosperous society for quality life of women, children and adolescents. SAC Nepal is implementing the different projects partnership with different partners. The projects covered all 10 districts of Karnali Province.

SAC Nepal is going to implementing the UPLIFT (BVLGARI) project from July 2026 in Birendranagar Municipality of Surkht district in partnership with Save the Children funded by BVLGARI and coordination with local and provincial governments as well as other stakeholders. Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Coordinator

Bachelor in any discipline from authorised university with at least 3 years experience in MEAL.

MEAL system in all program funded by Save the Children, provide technical support in program quality control, program planning, capacity building of program staffs in MEAL function and setting up accountability mechanism in organization including documentation of program/project’s interventions. Ensure smooth functioning of MEAL system in organization, conduct monthly quality monitoring in line with quality benchmark, prepare quality monitoring report, share community sharing tools and conduct output monitoring. Similarly provide necessary data to the program team to finalize project report, prepare case studies/success stories/good practices for program/project. The position holder will ensure smooth functioning of Complaint and Feedback Response Mechanism (CFRM), update action plan tracker and CFRM update MEAL OPMIS, and program database. .

Develop and oversee the project’s MEAL plan, indicators, tools, and reporting systems aligned with project goals and donor requirements.

Ensure robust planning, implementation and monitoring of project activities in line with project requirements.

Ensure timely, accurate, and ethical data collection; conduct data quality checks and support field teams on proper M&E tools and methods.

Support to prepare periodic progress reports, results summaries, and dashboards, ensuring compliance with donor and organizational standards

Support and facilitate to capture and maintain learning log, issue log, knowledge management and documentation based on evidence.

Overall responsible for complaint and feedback mechanism.

Lead the implementation of market systems development, business incubation, and private sector engagement for both micro-enterprise development and vocational training with job placement. Facilitate entrepreneurs in developing market-oriented business plans, strengthen market linkages, and support the delivery of sustainable employment and entrepreneurship interventions. In the same way, this position also supports in developing career plan linked with job placement after training.

Lead the supply-side interventions for entrepreneurship and employability generation. Work closely with local governments to identify potential micro-entrepreneurs (MEs) and vocational training (VT) participants, support the delivery of life skills, entrepreneurship, and other capacity-building training, coordinate with training institutions to facilitate market-relevant skills training, and ensure participants are well prepared for self-employment or wage employment opportunities.
