The Retail Sales Officer will manage distributor-led retail sales in assigned territory, focusing on achieving monthly targets through active customer engagement and field visits. This role is ideal for a sales professional with 3+ years of experience who can plan sales activities, drive growth, and strengthen retailer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular field visits to retail outlets, assess stock levels, and ensure product availability as per agreed planograms and sales priorities
• Develop and execute sales plans for the territory to achieve assigned monthly and quarterly targets
• Identify new retail opportunities, onboard new sellers/wholesalers, and expand product placement to improve market coverage
• Build and maintain strong relationships with shop owners, store managers, and key decision-makers to support repeat sales
• Track daily/weekly sales performance, monitor retailer activity, and report deviations from targets with corrective actions
• Coordinate with internal teams (sales, supply, and marketing) to manage promotions, new product launches, and merchandising activities at retail level
• Negotiate trade terms, retailer incentives, and placement support within company guidelines to secure sales outcomes
