for an ECD Teacher Training Consultancy

This consultancy

assignment aims to strengthen the capacity development of Early Childhood

Development (ECD) teachers in the ECD curriculum, the ECD Minimum Standards, established by the

Government of Nepal for the operation of ECD centers. Its purpose is to design

training content and deliver a foundational training for ECD teachers of Namkha

Rural Municipality and Tanjakot Rural Municipality in Humla district.

This

assignment will be implemented in Humla District one of Nepal's most remote

district where difficult geography, limited transportation are which often affect

travel and implementation schedule. Therefore the ECD trainer consultant is

expected to demonstrate high level of flexibility, adaptability in work planning

and scheduling and delivering training activities. The consultant should be

prepared to adjust travel plans, training schedules and methodologies according

to local conditions while ensuring the quality and effectiveness of capacity-

building activities. Previous experience working in remoteareas,

particularly in Karnali Province, and with multicultural and multilingual

communities is highly desirable.

The objective

of this training is to improve the capacity of ECD teachers to increase their

understanding of Early Childhood Development (ECD) to improve effective

learning activities.

Working in

close and regular coordination with the Aatmiya Education team, the consultant

is expected to carry out the following activities, which are indicative rather

than exhaustive

Hold a preparatory discussion with Aatmiya to agree on the scope

and content of the training.

Develop a five-day basic ECD training schedule and content,

submitting both a proposal draft and a final version to Aatmiya prior to

delivery.

Align the design and delivery of the training with the stated

specific objective.

Provide participants with resource materials on ECD produced by

the government and other relevant sources.

Submit a training completion report within one week of the

training's conclusion.

The duration

of the consultancy will be 26 August - 21 September, 2026, preference

will be given to consultants with a demonstrated track record of completing

assignments within tight deadlines without compromising the quality of

deliverables.

A bachelor's degree in education or a related discipline.

At least five years of professional experience in Early Childhood

Development.

Demonstrated experience in training design, facilitation, and

delivery.

Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with knowledge of

diverse training methodologies.

Familiarity with current government provisions, policies, and

guidelines on ECD.

Sound judgment and strong analytical and problem-solving skills in

a training setting.

Ability to work effectively as part of a training team.

Capacity to prepare a childhood development checklist.

Nepali

citizens who meet the qualifications above are invited to submit an Expression

of Interest comprising

(1) a cover page, (2) a brief technical and financial

proposal not exceeding five pages, and (3) an updated CV of the consultant(s).
