Terms of Reference (ToR) for Cooperative Finance Facilitator

Heifer Project Nepal is dedicated to ending hunger and poverty while caring for the Earth through sustainable agriculture-based livelihood and market systems development. Under its Dairy Sector Development initiatives, Heifer seeks to engage a Cooperative Finance Facilitator as consultant to provide strategic and technical support through Chitwan District Milk Producer Cooperative Union (DMPCU), to strengthen the governance, social capital, institutional, business, and policy capacities of the farmers institutions.

Cooperative Finance Facilitator

Duty Station

Chitwan DMPCU with frequent field visits to affiliated milk producer cooperatives

Duration

5-6 months with the possibility of extension

Responsibilities and Deliverables

1. Cooperative Governance, Financial Management and Technical Support

2. Collaboration and Partnership

3. Monitoring, Documentation and Reporting

4. Other Assigned Responsibilities
