Business Analyst

We are looking for a Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs, customer requirements, UX, and technology teams. The role will be responsible for understanding and analyzing business and customer needs, translating them into clear and actionable requirements, and supporting the successful delivery of new products, features, and enhancements

Qualification and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

3–5 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Systems Analyst, or in a similar role.

Proven experience in business requirement gathering, requirement analysis, BRD preparation, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination.

Experience working with UX/UI, Engineering, QA, and business teams in a product or technology-driven environment.

Hands-on experience in supporting the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from requirement gathering to testing, deployment, and post-release analysis.

Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and working with cross-functional technology teams will be an advantage.

Experience in FinTech, digital payments, banking, e-commerce, or other digital platforms will be preferred.

Job Description

Business Requirement & Product Development

Prepare and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) for new products, services, features, and product ideas.

Gather, analyze, validate, and document business and customer requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.

Collaborate with UX/UI teams to define and refine end-to-end product journeys based on business requirements and customer pain points.

Liaise with Engineering and Technology teams throughout the development lifecycle to clarify requirements, resolve queries, and ensure accurate implementation.

Coordinate with relevant stakeholders during development, testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and deployment to ensure that requirements are correctly implemented.

Support the delivery of fully tested, verified, and business-ready products and features within agreed timelines.

Product Enhancement & Change Requests

Identify and analyze customer feedback, user pain points, operational challenges, and business requirements to identify opportunities for product and feature enhancements.

Prepare Change Requests (CRs) for existing products and features, clearly documenting the business rationale, requirements, scope, and expected outcomes.

Coordinate with UX/UI and Engineering teams to support the design and implementation of product enhancements.

Validate completed enhancements against defined requirements and acceptance criteria before release.

Support post-release monitoring to ensure that implemented changes address the identified business or customer needs.

Requirement & Stakeholder Management

Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to gather and understand requirements, business processes, and pain points.

Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions, discussions, and workshops with relevant stakeholders.

Analyze and prioritize requirements based on business value, customer impact, feasibility, urgency, and organizational priorities.

Translate business requirements into clear and actionable documentation for UX, Engineering, QA, and other relevant teams.

Maintain a single source of truth for requirements, scope, decisions, assumptions, and changes throughout the product development lifecycle.

Identify requirement gaps, dependencies, risks, and potential conflicts and facilitate timely resolution.

Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement

Analyze product, customer, and user metrics following product and feature releases to evaluate performance and adoption.

Use data and customer insights to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for product improvement.

Support A/B testing and experimentation by helping define business objectives, hypotheses, success metrics, and analyzing results.

Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support business and product-related decision-making.

Continuously evaluate existing processes and products and recommend improvements based on customer needs, business priorities, and performance data.

Continuous Learning

Participate in relevant training, workshops, and professional development programs to enhance business analysis and product development capabilities.

Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, business analysis practices, and digital product development methodologies.

Apply relevant industry knowledge and best practices to improve the quality and effectiveness of business analysis and requirement management.
