Job Purpose

The Youth Engagement Coordinator drives TFN Fellowship recruitment pipeline by building sustained relationships with prospective candidates and academic institutions. This role owns the candidate experience end-to-end — from first outreach and motivation-building through application support to final conversion — while cultivating long-term partnerships with universities and youth networks that feed TFN talent pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

Office Management / Culture

Lead and participate in RSM meetings

Active participation in Reflection, Check-In and team meetings

1. College Engagement & Outreach

Source and engage prospects from colleges, universities, and other institutions

Build and sustain relationships with academics and institutional stakeholders

Lead high-visibility events and info sessions to raise TFN profile among target youth

Provide 1-1 cultivation support to individual prospects

2. Candidate Funneling — Recruitment, Cultivation & Matriculation

Guide prospects through the funneling process via phone calls and in-person meetings

Drive virtual engagement through social media, digital media, email, and SMS

Conduct 1-1 conversations with prospects to sustain motivation and address concerns

3. Selection Support (First Interview & Assessment Centre)

Invite and schedule candidates for interviews and Assessment Centre

Support candidates through the interview and Assessment Centre process

4. Info-Session & Event Management

Manage participant invitations end-to-end

Ensure logistical readiness aligned to expected participation

5. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain regular, accurate updates in CRM (Salesforce)

Track and analyze engagement data to inform recruitment strategy

Document engagements and outcomes on an ongoing basis

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with 2 years of work experience (STEM & Business graduates are encouraged to apply)

Experience working with Young people in youth development initiatives, campus engagement, educational institutions, NGOs, or youth led organizations preferred

Experience coordinating events, campaigns or volunteer activities is preferred

Strong in both Nepali and English languages

Flexible approach to working hours

Willing to travel in and outside Nepal if necessary

Strong computer competency (at least Office package)
