Lutheran World Relief (LWR), which is part of Corus International, seeks to recruit result-oriented individuals to fill the following positions for Nepal Office, for a program strengthening disaster preparedness, governance, and resilience in Nepal’s Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER – DRR, EMERGENCY AND HUMANITARIAN RESPONSE -

Reporting to the Senior Program Director, the Senior Project Manager leads LWR’s DRR, emergency and humanitarian response programming in Nepal, overseeing project design, implementation, and donor compliance in close coordination with federal and provincial government stakeholders. The position will be based in Kathmandu, Nepal with approximately 30% time in Provincial Ministries.

PROJECT MANAGER – PROVINCIAL DRR SPECIALIST (2 POSITIONS) -

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Project Manager – Provincial DRR Specialist supports the implementation of LWR’s DRR, Emergency and Humanitarian Response Project at the provincial level, based at the Provincial Ministry in Karnali or Sudurpaschim. Working under the DRR, Emergency and Humanitarian Response Manager (DEHRM) and Senior Program Director, the position identifies and supports local partners, oversees project implementation, and represents LWR with government and non-government stakeholders. The role focuses on capacity building and strengthening coordination and networking with provincial government stakeholders  particularly the Provincial Emergency Operations Center (PEOC) to ensure projects meet international and donor standards of implementation. The position will be based in Karnali Province and Sudurpaschim Province, Nepal

Reporting to the Country Finance and Administration Manager, the Finance and Administration Officer completes financial, accounting, and administrative operations and procedures for the Nepal program in line with organizational policy and internationally recognized accounting standards, with core functions in accounting, procurement, logistics, and HR support as needed. The position will be located in Kathmandu, Nepal

MONITORING, EVALUATION AND LEARNING (MEL) OFFICER -  (JOB ID

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the MEL Officer strengthens the project’s MEL system by ensuring high-quality data collection, analysis, reporting, and evidence generation, supporting monitoring, assessments, learning, and adaptive management, while building the capacity of implementing partners and promoting digital and AI-enabled solutions.  The position will be based in Kathmandu, Nepal with approximately 30% time in Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces
