Job Summary

The New Product Development Officer is responsible for managing the end-to-end product development process, from idea generation and market research to product launch and post-launch evaluation. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative products that meet customer needs, achieve business objectives, and maintain quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and business opportunities.

• Generate and evaluate new product ideas based on market insights and company strategy.

• Prepare product concepts, business cases, and feasibility studies.

• Coordinate with research and development, production, marketing, sales, procurement, and quality assurance teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

• Develop product specifications, pricing strategies, and launch plans.

• Monitor product development timelines and ensure projects are completed within budget.

• Organize product testing, customer trials, and quality evaluations before launch.
