Job Summary

Loophole InfoTech is a growing software startup based in Nepal, building modern digital solutions for businesses. Our products include Retail Management Systems (RMS), Point of Sale (POS) systems, E-commerce platforms, and custom business applications. We are looking for a motivated Backend Developer Intern who is eager to learn, solve real-world problems, and contribute to production-level software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Node.js and Express.js.

• Build secure and scalable RESTful APIs.

• Design, manage, and optimize MySQL databases.

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable SQL queries.

• Implement authentication and authorization using JWT.

• Integrate backend services with frontend applications and third-party APIs.

• Debug, test, and optimize backend performance.

• Collaborate with developers using Git and GitHub.

• Participate in code reviews, feature discussions, and sprint planning.

• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following best practices.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Basic knowledge of Node.js and Express.js.

• Good understanding of JavaScript (ES6+).

• Familiarity with MySQL and relational database concepts.

• Understanding of REST APIs and JSON.

• Basic knowledge of Git and GitHub.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Willingness to learn new technologies and work in a collaborative startup environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Postman for API testing.

• Understanding of MVC architecture.

• Basic knowledge of authentication and authorization (JWT).

• Familiarity with deployment platforms or Linux environments is a plus.
