Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst specializing in Application and Network Security to protect our organization's applications, systems, and network infrastructure from cyber threats. The successful candidate will identify vulnerabilities, monitor security events, implement security controls, conduct risk assessments, and collaborate with development and IT teams to ensure secure operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and investigate security alerts from SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF, and endpoint security solutions.

• Perform vulnerability assessments and basic penetration testing of web applications, APIs, servers, and network infrastructure.

• Identify security vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation with IT and development teams.

• Support application and network security by implementing and maintaining security controls.

• Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents and prepare incident reports.

• Analyze security logs and recommend improvements to enhance security posture.

• Assist in security audits, risk assessments, and compliance activities.

• Maintain security documentation and stay updated on emerging cyber threats and technologies.

• Perform other cybersecurity-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Network Security, or Application Security.

• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, NIST, and common security frameworks.

• Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, Burp Suite, Nessus, Nmap, Wireshark, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and EDR.

• Basic knowledge of Windows, Linux, networking, and cloud security.

• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CEH, CySA+, or Cisco CyberOps are preferred
