Job Summary

A Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients, monitoring their health, administering medications, assisting physicians, and educating patients and their families. The role requires compassion, clinical competence, and adherence to professional and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

• Monitor patients' vital signs and report changes in their condition.

• Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed.

• Assist physicians during examinations, procedures, and emergencies.

• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and nursing documentation.

• Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and post-discharge care.

• Ensure infection prevention and control practices are followed.

• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide basic or advanced life support as required.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent qualification in Nursing.

• Valid nursing registration/licensure with the relevant nursing council.
