Role & Responsibilities

Design and deliver engaging Kathak classes for children, aligning with the academy’s curriculum and pedagogical standards.

Demonstrate proper technique, cultural context, and storytelling elements inherent to Kathak dance.

Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and tailor instruction to varying skill levels.

Organize and coordinate recitals, workshops, and community events to showcase student talent.

Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.

Collaborate with other faculty members to integrate interdisciplinary projects and ensure cohesive program delivery.

Manage class schedules, attendance records, and related administrative tasks efficiently.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Dance, Fine Arts, Education, or a related field.

Minimum of 1 year of professional teaching experience in Kathak or Indian classical dance.

Strong dance expertise with a deep understanding of Kathak technique, repertoire, and cultural heritage.

Excellent communication skills to engage and motivate young learners and parents.

Effective project management and time‑management abilities to handle class planning and event coordination.
