rviewThe finance and media payables team ensure that the incoming and outgoing financials for all media entities under the Omnicom ownership in Australia are managed efficiently, providing accurate information for our clients and to the Management Team. You will be relied upon by the trading community to provide guidance with respect to finance practice and be responsible for ensuring all work is carried out in a compliant m

anner.Key Responsib

  • ilitiesResponsibility for reconciliations and payments of specific media types, i.e., Television, Outdoor, Digital, etc. This is subject to change as directed by the Media Payables
  • ManagerMatching, validating and reconciling media supplier invoices to Spectra M
  • D systemIssuing all account queries to media buyers promptly, for resolution prior to when the media supplier is due to
  • be paidRegular bi-weekly chasing of outstanding account queries, and prompt turnaround and processing of answered
  • queries.Timely processing of media supplier invoices for payment ensuring that all payments have a completed reconciliation form attached to each
  • paymentPromptly and courteously resolving all media supplier queries with respect to
  • paymentsEnsuring all reconciliations and the payment of media creditors are on time and in accordance with monthly timetable de
  • adlines.If required, assisting with month-end close-off, payment runs and general r
  • eportingMaintain a positive rapport with external vendors and intern
  • al staffEnsure that all filing is done on a timely basis and kept up
  • to dateAssist the Media Finance Team, and wider Finance department with any other workload requirements and/or ad hoc duties e.g., SOX an
