Role Description The Banquet Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Butwal, responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of banquets and events. The role includes coordinating with clients to understand event requirements, designing banquet layouts, and managing food and beverage service to ensure a smooth and enjoyable guest experience. The Banquet Manager leads and supervises the banquet team, handles staff scheduling, and collaborates with the kitchen and front office to align service standards. Daily tasks involve monitoring event setups, ensuring adherence to hygiene and safety protocols, managing inventory for banquet supplies, and resolving guest concerns promptly. The role also includes tracking event performance, optimizing revenue opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with repeat and corporate clients.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills to ensure exceptional guest experiences and handle feedback effectively.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for coordinating with clients, team members, and other departments.
- Candidates should possess solid Food & Beverage knowledge to manage menus, service standards, and quality control during events.
- Candidates should possess experience in Hiring and supervising staff, including training, performance monitoring, and team motivation.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in banquet or event management, strong organizational and time-management skills, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field, along with proficiency in basic computer applications and event management systems, is preferred.
