Dedicated to staying at the forefront of industry trends, the company continually updates its processes and systems to uphold high-quality standards in customer care.Role DescriptionThis is a Full-time, on-site HR Assistant role for Internet Service Provider (ISP) Company located in Teku, Kathmandu, Nepal. The HR Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department by assisting in recruitment, onboarding, employee documentation, attendance management, HR record maintenance, employee engagement activities, and day-to-day HR operations. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to communicate effectively with employees across all levels of the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Selection
- Assist in posting job vacancies on various recruitment platforms.
- Screen resumes and shortlist candidates based on job requirements.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and candidates.
- Schedule interviews, assessments, and follow-up communications.
- Maintain candidate databases and recruitment trackers.
- Assist in preparing offer letters and employment contracts.
Onboarding & Employee Documentation
- Coordinate employee joining formalities and orientation programs.
- Collect and verify employee documents.
- Maintain accurate employee personnel files (physical and digital).
- Assist employees in completing HR documentation.
HR Administration
- Maintain employee attendance and leave records.
- Update HRIS and employee databases regularly.
- Prepare HR letters including confirmation letters, experience letters, contract extensions, warning letters, and other HR correspondence.
- Support payroll by ensuring employee data is accurate and up to date.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information and HR records.
Employee Engagement
- Assist in organizing employee engagement programs, celebrations, and wellness initiatives.
- Support training sessions and maintain training records.
- Collect employee feedback and assist in engagement surveys.
Compliance & Record Management
- Ensure HR documents comply with company policies and labor regulations.
- Maintain HR reports, trackers, and monthly HR metrics.
- Assist during HR audits and documentation reviews.
General HR Support
- Respond to employee queries regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with different departments on HR-related matters.
- Perform other HR and administrative duties assigned by the HR Manager.
Job Specifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in HR, recruitment, or administration preferred.
- Internship experience in Human Resources will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of recruitment and selection processes.
- Understanding of Nepal Labor Act and HR best practices.
- Familiarity with MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Experience with HRIS or ATS is an added advantage.
- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Excellent email drafting and professional communication skills.
